Neil's fab quilt

DSCF0211 "Hi all Knitters and Quilters! I'm very new to this game and as a newbie I was encouraged to attend the recent Kaffe Fassett book signing at Toppings in Bath. Leaving inspired and super charged, I started a quilt. I was inspired by Kaffe Fassett's 'Big Crosses' knitting pattern. Incidentally he was apparently inspired by Klimt, possibly 'Klimt's the kiss'?

Any-who, here are a few pics of me and my quilt. As you can see I am laying out the rest of the quilt around the sample I made. I'm really pleased with the progress and all the encouragement I received from the Knitters and Quilters meeting on Tuesday night at the Crystal Palace! Any tips or comments are welcome!
