Lovely Carol from work (who's taking me to Dick and Debbie Mather's 'Crafts at Home' tomorrow) lent me a wonderful book called 'Wild Knitting' by Angela Jeffs. It was published in 1979: does that help to give you some idea of what delights this post is going to dazzle you with?

The farmers' jumper has a pipe-cleaner fence and pompom sheep. The bobble hat has a yellow bobble as the sun! (right). Just wonderful!
