Being a palaeontologist in a previous life, evolutionary biology has always intrigued me...and last year I managed to find an exhibition that combined Darwin with knitting....you can imagine my delight!
I saw it in Oxford with friends...it was exquistely put together and the details was incredible! My only gripe was that the expo was covered in an awning with a rope over the entrance, meaning that you couldn't get up-close and the lighting was terrible. The outcome was that you couldn't really see it very well - I felt the efforts of the creators were quite wasted :(
You can see some of the creatures here.
(2009 saw the bicentenary of Darwin's birth, and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his seminal work 'On the origin of Species'. Sadly, I'm not sure Darwin's Leftovers is still showing in 2010....does anyone know?)
