Bath is lucky enough to have the Fashion Museum at hand (formerly the Museum of Costume). Much to my chagrin, I've not yet been (only except when they had a teeny tiny bit of their collection open during the refurbishment...

They had a woman on Breakfast News this morning showing how she spins the doghair into wool! AND Bill Turnbull wearing 1 of her creations!

The wife of one of my colleagues does this - she's a spinner, and will spin anything (including cat and dog hair). Apparently, it's much nicer to spin some clean cat fur than deal with a horrible stinky ram's fleece. Whoda thunk it?
