I love the makers of Innocent drinks! I love the little bottles with their witty little blurbs, the yummy flavours and the fact the fact they started with so little and now have a squillion-pound turnover (but, given the price of the shakes, it's not that surprising, is it?!). But, best of all, I love their Supergran campaign. Last year more than 220,000 hats went out to see the world - with 50p donated by Innocent for every little hat - that's a lot of money!
This year Rowan has stepped up to help, and they have a great deal for knitting clubs: they will send you ideas for Knit in Public day, free hat patterns and vouchers! (Thanks for the info, Wendy.)
E-mail them at [email protected] or, if you're speedy, you can write to them at: Knitting in Public Day, Rowan Yarns, Green Lane Mill, Holmfirth HD9 2DX. (Please mention Bath S'n'B.)
Innocent even give us funny little knitting tips. I've not knitted a hat yet and figure this is the best way to practice: albeit on a mini-scale...if I use mini-needles too will it feel like a normal-sized hat knitting experience?! :0)
