Last night was lots of fun... Elizabeth has been beetling over her Griffin embroidery and it's well on target for a Christmas finish! And, Helen's fingerless gloves are amazing! (How does she make it look so easy?!) Look at that yarn...mmmmmm.
It's just a wee shame I have to leave a little early on the first Tuesdays of the month - I nip over to The Raven for a natter with fellow publishers. If there are any other logophiles out there we meet at 20.30 on the first Tuesday of the month upstairs to talk about all things wordy and drink beer. There's a lovely mixture of writers, graphic designers, editorial/production folk, artists and even a Bard!
Three of my favourite things in one night: wool, words and wine. Yippee!
I saw the patchwork/quilt equivalent of Elizabeth's emroidery today at the patchwork exhibition at Radstock museum. It was in a quilt inspired by Venice. A coincidence or what?
The exhibition's on until 30/11 if you haven't been already. It's also going to be back in February by popular demand...
