IMPORTANT: change in venue for Sunday knitting group

The Sunday group will no longer take place in the Kindling cafe in Widcombe as it now shuts at 2pm on Sundays :-(

After trialing various coffee-houses, a democratic vote was implemented to find a venue that is open consistently and was well-enough lit to knit merrily, we have decided to meet in the Crystal Palace on Sundays too!
So we are now a one-venue club - which should make things a lot easier...

We shall miss out cake and 10000 tea varieties but this way we can sit in the pub-garden and sip tea...if we feel like a cheeky afternoon beer we can have one!! :0)

Bath Stitch'n'Bitch meetings!

The Bath Stitch 'n' Bitch group meets four times a month for a knit-knatter: fortnightly on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons! All abilities are very welcome!

The Sunday group meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 14.00 in the Kindling Coffee House, 9a Claverton Buildings, Claverton Street, Widcombe, Bath (behind Bath Spa Station).

The Tuesday knitting group in Bath meets in the Crystal Palace Tavern (Bath BA1 1NW) at 19.00 on the 1st and 3rd week of every month.

There is limited on-street parking around the shops (click on the above photo, right) and nearby car parks on Manvers Street and Avon Street. (Just to warn you: there's some building construction and demolition works to the SW of the city which might alter where you can park and road systems.) The nearest train station is Bath Spa and there are several Park and Ride systems in operation in Bath.

There is limited on-street parking, on the opposite side of the road, a car park behind the shops on the north side of the Parade (click on the above photo, right) and 2 hours free parking in Widcombe Hill and Prior Park Road.
